How to Use your Imagination

Your imagination is your workshop where all plans are created.

It has been said that we can create anything which we can imagine.

I believe this to be one of the truest statements as I look at my own journey. Without imagination, that gave me the desire to put into action my plans, I would not be where I am today.

Imagination has allowed us to conquer the air so no bird can match us, has made instantaneous communication with anyone in the entire world possible.

The only limitation we have lies in our own development and use of our imagination. We still don’t seem to fully realize the scope and true depth of what we can do with our imagination. We know that we have an imagination, but we only use it in a very basic way.

What we don’t realize is that we have two forms of imagination, Synthetic, which is where we take old ideas and turn them into something new, using material, experience, education or observation and then there is Creative Imagination: this is where we receive hunches and inspiration, and it’s through Creative Imagination that new ideas are born.

Your Synthetic Imagination is what will be used most frequently though, In the process of transforming what you most want into something tangible, but when you face difficulties or feel like you come up against a brick wall, this is where you will want your Creative Imagination.

They both can become weak though, through lack of use, just like any muscle in the body. It can be revived and made alert through USE though.

Transforming your dreams and desires into reality requires you to make plans, and this will be done mainly with your Synthetic Imagination, so stop reading this, get a pen and paper and write down your dreams and a plan on how to achieve these goals.

Just by doing this one thing you have taken your dream and put it into concrete form. You have taken the first step to turning your dream into its physical counterpart.

Remember that your desires and dreams are thought impulses, and thought impulses are energy, and the world is one big ball of energy! So use the same stuff that Nature used in creating the Earth and every material form in the Universe, including the body, and the brain where you get to have those thought impulses.

Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes, and they are the product of Imagination. Exercise your imagination, take true advantage of this wonderful ability we have.

When your Imagination gives you these ideas, coax them, nurse them, encourage them to remain alive, and before you know it your idea will become a giant and it will coax, nurse and encourage you. Imagination and Ideas are like that, first you give them life and action, then before you know it they take on a power of their own and sweep all opposition aside.

Ideas are intangible forces, but they have more power than the physical brain that thought of them.

They have the power to live on after the brain that created them, turns to dust. Use your imagination; trust in your ideas, make a plan of action and you may leave a true legacy behind.
